Preschool through 5th grade Queen Ka‘ahumanu students attend every other week 40 minute technology sessions. Students have a access Google Chromebooks in their homerooms and iPads in the tech lab, to give students a variety of ways to hone their tech skillset. The tech lab has been transformed into the Tink Think Tank, where students work collaboratively to code, build, invent, fix, debug, and learn from each other. Students in grades 2-5 utilize Google Apps for Education for writing and research projects. Lessons are guided by ISTE National Educational Technology Standards and code.org curriculum guides.
