Jump Rope for Heart Tapestry

Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss! Read Across America was celebrated on March 2nd with green eggs & ham!

So much joy at Dr. Seuss' breakfast celebration!

Families and staff learn how to save hearts & make fruit kabobs at our Valentine's Day activity.

Teachers were thrilled with a morning of professional development at the Honolulu Museum of Art, on 2/9/18.

1st graders loved creating pinwheels for the President's Day family activity.

Happy Birthday Principal Yun-Kim & Yay QKS is the top DimensionU school in our complex area!

Mahalo for the huge support at our 2nd Annual QKS Campus Beautification Community Work Day, held on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

We're all ready to work hard and make our campus gorgeous!

Despite the wet weather conditions, we still had a GREAT turn out, bringing together about 100 volunteers from our school community!

Thank you to all our students, families, teachers, staff, and extraordinary community partner - Kaiser Permanente for your support!

Mahalo for painting inside the cafe and other parts of the campus, sweeping, picking up rubbish, scrubbing the walls, planting potted plants under the marquee, power washing, etc.

Here's our talented Junior Robotics Team who proudly represented QKS at the Hawaii First Lego Junior Expo. 

They displayed their special project: "Aqua Adventure".

Team building- trying one of the many gigantic interactive games they had at the First Lego League Expo.

STEM Night- building gravity cars! Look at that added jaguar weight. What happens when you add weight to a gravity car?

Iteration time- how can we build our car better to make it go faster and farther?

Testing our gravity cars on the ramp (aka inclined plane).

T.N. was so thrilled about his gravity car he was flapping his arms & jumping up and down in jubilation!
